About us

Who We Are 

Toowoomba Homeless Outreach Inc. (THO) is a community-based organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in the Toowoomba region.

We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect. Through our outreach, volunteers and connections with local services, churches and community organisations, we provide practical assistance while helping people connect with the support they need.

Our approach is simple — we meet people where they are, listen without judgement and walk alongside them.

What We Do 

Breakfast Outreach
Our volunteers provide breakfast seven mornings a week at Clewley Park, offering food, practical assistance and a welcoming place for connection.

Practical Support
We assist with essential items and practical needs where possible, responding with compassion and respect to the individual circumstances of each person.

Connection and Advocacy
We work alongside local homelessness, housing, health and community services to help people connect with appropriate support and advocate for their needs.

Community Collaboration
We believe lasting change takes a community. THO works collaboratively with local services, churches, businesses, volunteers and members of the Toowoomba community.
